The NRSD Jazz Program hosted their annual Nashoba Jazz Night the week before February break. The concert featured jazz bands from across the district, ranging from elementary to high school performers. The evening concluded with an NRSD District Jazz Ensemble performance of 2nd Line, a New Orleans Traditional jazz piece arranged by our own Nashoba Music Educators.

Nashoba Regional School District will be closed today, Monday, February 23rd, 2026, due to inclement weather.

Ms. Rocha's Bestsellers and Blockbusters: Literature and Film students began work on their semester-long project this afternoon. The project requires students to select two books and three movies of their choice and through writing and video create five reviews. Digital Director of Innovation, Jed Stefanowicz, popped by to give students a tutorial on GoogleVids as a potential tool.

Teachers from the NRHS Innovation Pathways Program along with NRHS Electives teachers spent time visiting eighth graders across the district this week. Their presentation focused on asking students to think about their own interests, before spending some time talking with teachers about their elective choices.

The NRHS Social Studies Department hosted their annual Nashoba History Day. Projects were displayed in the Library throughout the day, and students and staff had the chance to grab a ballot and cast a vote for their favorites.

NRHS business students spent Wednesday at Nichols College presenting in the annual DECA Districts competition. Top presenters will move on to the next competition, States!

Congratulations to our International Foods class! Their submission of a T. Rex and his Pterodactyls side kick stealing Christmas won first place in Springfield Museums' Jurassic Park themed Gingerbread Competition.

Volunteers from around the district and our three towns headed to NRHS today to help judge the Mock DECA competition. This event offers DECA students a chance to receive feedback on their projects before presenting at the January Districts Competition.

Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing students toured the new NRHS high school build, and got the chance to stand in the area that will become their future woods and metals shop.
