Nashoba DECA student pose at nationals with their banner

From April 26th to May 1st, 32 Nashoba Regional High School students traveled to Orlando, Florida to compete at DECA’s International Career Development Conference (ICDC) -- a school record for national qualifiers. This global event brought together over 26,000 students, educators, and business leaders for career-based competition, leadership academies, and networking opportunities.

Three Nashoba groups reached the final round (Top 20 in the world), including Winston Zhao and Brennan Kelleher (Entrepreneurship Team Decision Making), Jacob Schwartz (Integrated Marketing Campaign), and Eabhan Ambrose, Brady Mignault, and Alex Dow (Business Services Operations Research). The Business Services Operations Research group earned international recognition on the final stage with a 7th-place finish worldwide. All 10 students competing in written exam events placed in the Top 30% nationally, receiving Certificates of Excellence. Special congratulations to Winston Zhao and Brennan Kelleher, who became the first Nashoba students to qualify for ICDC four years in a row.

Students also enjoyed local attractions such as Disney, Universal Studios, and Top Golf. We extend our sincere thanks to Clinton Savings Bank and Align Credit Union for their generous Gold Level sponsorship this year. You can check out the full recap here!
